The Natural Looking Denture

At this one-day, hands-on course, you will learn various techniques for making a denture look natural. You will get inspiration for tooth setup and selection of denture teeth, learn a special modelling technique hands-on, and learn the gingival imitation technique hands-on, using light-cured composite.

Each participant must bring: Modelling instruments, a waxed-up upper tooth setup, an upper denture (carved but not polished), a flamer and a light-cure pen

Number of participants: 10 to 50 persons

Location: Denture lab, meeting room, Hotel conference room or similar

Equipment at location: Projector, hands-on camera, a chair and a table for each participant

8.30- 9.00 Registration and refreshments
9.00-10.15  Tooth selection and anterior positioning. Illustration of modelling technique to achieve a natural transition from gingiva to tooth
10.15-10.30  Refreshment break
10.30-11.30  Each participant will try the modelling technique themselves, while the technique is shown on camara
11.30-12.30   Illustration of the work method of light-cured gingival Imitation material
12.30-13.30  Lunch
13.30-16.00  Each participant will try the work method of light-cured composite themselves, while the technique is shown on camera
16.00-16.30  Case presentations
